My grandmother was here for a few months. I work in EMS and am often wary of any type of assisted living/nursing facility. I live on the other side of the state and was extremely nervous about the care my grandmother would receive. The first time I visited my grandmother, all of my worries vanished. From the moment that I walked in, I knew she was in good hands. The staff were beyond accommodating and friendly. Each and every staff member (from the custodian to the directors/managers) were attentive to both the residents AND their families. I would like to sing the praises of one stand out employee--Lavina (I think that is spelled correctly). She worked hard to break down the barriers and walls that my grandmother put up. She connected with her and got her to open up. She was an advocate, a care taker, and had a heart of gold. Regency shatters the stereotypes that other facilities have. The staff are attentive and genuinely care. The facility is CLEAN! I thank the staff, at Regency, for giving my grandmother the care and love she needed...and for allowing her to keep her dignity. Lavina, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your love and passion for your patients brings a tear to my eye. You made a difference in my grandmother's life, and her family.

My Mother-in-law was a resident recently and had wonderful care. From getting her admitted in an emergency situation to the seamless discharge we were more then happy with her care. Thanks for everything!

I have been employed for 2 years at the Laurels. The last year has been as the wound nurse. It is an amazing place to work. The administration and all staff are spectacular. This is the only facility that I have worked at that has a dedicated wound nurse and outside doctor that rounds weekly. Your loved one are FAMILY when they enter the Laurels.

The laurels of west Carrollton is a good facility and Katie is a 5 star aid in every way. And transport driver Mel is the most careful and caring. She really cares about her charges n a great driver

I am currently a resident here and I couldn’t be happier with the staff and this facility. I’ve been in other skilled nursing facilities/rehab centers and they pale in comparison! Couldn’t be more pleased!

My mother came to the short-term rehabilitation side of The Laurels of West Columbus after a hospitalization for a fall and fractured back. She received outstanding care and the rehabilitation exceeded my expectations as her walking was superior to where she was prior to the fall and her other medical conditions. She transitioned to the long-term nursing care side, where she has continued to receive excellent care. The staff know her by name and are friendly and helpful when I visit. Mom has made several friends among the residents and enjoys the activities. She regularly attends church service, bible study, and bingo. She recently visited the “petting zoo animals”; attended a “Celebration of Life” service for a friend (another resident); watched a “show and tell” by the Columbus Zoo with some of their small animals; and attended “prom” with the in-house Elvis impersonator. Mom is the best recommendation for The Laurels as she tells me she is happy there and she calls it her home.

Ovid healthcare is a great place! So many smiling faces and people who care. It has that home like feeling. All the work they have been putting into the building is amazing! Its looking so good with all the renovations! The new shower room just updated is so nice and spacious. The staff there are amazing and work their butts off to ensure everyone one is well cared for ❤️. The Ovid healthcare team is amazing and always pulling together to ensure the best care and compassion possible! Thank you to all you healthcare workers for all you do!

Thank you everyone! I stayed for 2 weeks at The Laurels of Heath. My experiences with the staff and residents were all positive. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The residents I had a chance to meet are very nice and helpful also. The residents are willing to go out of their way to hold doors open, give directions , and let you know anything you need to know about the facility. I can't say enough about the staff. I can't remember everyone's name so I won't include any names. Everyone on the staff are as polite and friendly as you could possibly hope for. The facility is clean and seams to be in good repair. I'll some it up by saying if I ever need rehabilitation or long term care again, I will return to The Laurels of Heath. Again thank you everyone for making my stay with you an amazing experience!!!
